I just love spending time with my friends, sometimes its just work, work,work and then you have a chance like last Saturday at Charl and Dezzie's wedding to feast with friends, Oh how wonderful! They are all totally crazy,funny,clever,kind,beautiful and so different, my kinda people.

I guess it's been a while........

I know I hav'nt written in a while! No excuses, really just didn't seam to have time and my life has been a little complicated of late! It all seamed to turn around quite suddenly last week and I feel so fine, yeh super excited for the rest of the year, feels like mine is only just starting!!

Had a fun week last week with a friend visiting from out of town and so enjoyed connecting again, she was a breath of fresh air and I felt wind being blown into my sails.

I love that friends do that! I have realized lately how important it is to have friends, ones that know you, that care, that cry with you, that love you when you feel unlovable, that put up with your insecurities, that keep lavishing you with themselves unselfishly, that want to be with with you even when you don't want to be with you!, that let you know how important you are! Thanks my friends ( you know who you are!) Life would suck without all of you. To my friends that have "carried" me the past three months.... you are amazing....... I have so much gratitude in my heart towards you!

Let's all try and be better friends this year, loving unconditionally without restraint. I know I want to be!

Too much cuteness in one person is not allowed!!!

This is my Amazing little Nephew Leo with his mom and dad. My brother Grant and sister inlaw Eleanor. Its such a treat having a little one in the family again. I intend spending a considerable amount of time with him this year, dont want to miss out!

Had A wonderful weekend in Mossel Bay with old friends at Deon Delports 50th. Its always good when you visit with friends that you dont see often, the amazing thing is that you pick up where you left off.
Had a Great breakfast at Delphinos at the Point and visited for 3 hours all together.





These are two of my oldest and dearest friend, Kimmy Delport and Chanelle Roussouw.
Chanelle (lives in PE) and I have been friends for 17 years and kimmy( from Mossel Bay, married to Deon) have been friends for about 15 years.
We only land up seeing each other 3 or 4 times a year, then its a feast of news over breakfast, lunch, supper and late nights! I love it, and them so much.

We Had such a great time, Aidin gets to visit with his mates Bryce and Keagan Delport. They truly are like family to us.

This weekend with friends really helped me get through my busy December.

What to do with a free day?

Today, a whole day to do whatever I want! You might think this odd, but its a rare and unusual thing in my busy life.
So I wake up at 6am... ironic, let the dogs out and yes do the right thing,no I didn't go to the gym, I went BACK TO BED! Slumber, wonderful slumber! so I eventually surface at about 9, make a good cuppa coffee and a slice of toast.
Jump in the shower, Its really warm today. Pop into woolies food and buy a few essentials.Put my cozzie on and no, Not swimming yet, BATHING the DOG(Roxie), and no I don't own a dog ( its Jessie's dog, I am looking after their house), only an adorable kitty cat.
A lot of fun, very wet, both of us , but the result is a sweet smelling Golden, no longer brown, Golden retriever.
Now its time for me to have a swim. Glorious!

Small Beginings to a Big Year!

So now I a officially a BLOGGER! yeh. My friend Katie helped me set up my page today, so here I go!
The new year begins! I kinda feel like I am still stuck in 2009, not sure why, I somehow think I always feel like this. This time of year rushes past in a blurr, I guess its because its a really busy time and I never, never take leave. Everyone wants to look amazing for their holidays, yes and I help them to do just that!

Its a little less frantic already as everyone slumbers after the seasons festivities behind us, overfed appetites and decreased bank balances,( any one relate?).

I indulged in the most magnificent meal with Kate and Anli today at Savuga (I think that's how you spell it.) the sister restaurant of Baluga. Amazing food, good company, great view, ahhhhh, and jeans that feel just a bit too tight for my liking.

I hope there will be many more such days in my year, actually, living in the most beautiful city in the world with friends and family I love, I know there will be many,many more! Yeh I cant wait!
